Johnny Martinez, Director
Johnny Martinez is a proud U.S. Army veteran who served honorably as an infantryman in both Airborne and Mechanized units. Drawing from his military discipline, leadership, and teamwork, Johnny transitioned into entrepreneurship—becoming the owner of three successful businesses—and later into veteran program management and community service.
With a diverse professional background, Johnny has built extensive experience in accounting and administration across government contracting, healthcare, insurance, and banking sectors. His career also includes serving as Director of Training for a Los Angeles-based law firm and as Program Manager at the New Mexico Veterans Integration Center, where he advanced key initiatives supporting veterans in their transition to civilian life.
A native of Albuquerque’s South Valley, Johnny grew up along the historic Route 66 corridor, deeply influenced by his father—a World War II Bronze Star recipient and serial entrepreneur—whose example instilled in him the values of hard work, service, and perseverance.
Today, as Director of the New Mexico Veterans Business Outreach Center, Johnny combines his business expertise, leadership experience, and heartfelt commitment to serve those who served. Grounded in faith and guided by purpose, he continues to build programs and partnerships that empower veterans, military spouses, and their families to achieve lasting success in business and in life.
